Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted January 16, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 16, 2020 Are you overclocking anything? Are you using a single PCIe cable from your PSU to power your 5700XT?

Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted January 16, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 16, 2020 Save the profiles for your overclocks and revert your hardware to their default specifications. Then instead of using a single PCIE cable from the PSU to power your 5700XT use a separate PCIE cable from your PSU per power connection on your GPU as we have found newer GPUs are wanting to pull more power than a single connection on the PSU can adequately provide. If the coil whine goes away after making those changes turn one overclock on at a time. If it comes back you will know it is the overclock causing the coil whine. If it doesn't come back the issue was your single PCIE cable powering both power connectors on your GPU.
