andykn
What's the difference? Dabs in the UK offer both: http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-16gb--2-x-8gb--vengeance-ddr3-1600mhz-sodimm-204-pin-cl10-811B.html http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-16gb--2x8gb--nb-vengeance-ddr3-1600mhz-so-dimm-204-pin-cl10-82MX.html The CMSX product, the part number format that appears on the Corsair website for Vengeance memory, is billed as "NB Vengeance" and the CMXS product, which doesn't seem to appear on the Corsair webite at all is billed as just "Vengeance". Dabs charge more for the 2x8GB "NB Vengeance" (CMSX) than plain old "Vengeance" (CMS) but, confusingly, less for the 1x8GB "NB Vengeance" (CMSX) than the 1x8GB "Vengeance" (CMXS). Thanks for the reply. It's quite a prevalent typo, Google either and you receive a fair number of hits. Is there no significance at all to the "NB"? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 19, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 19, 2012 Both part numbers are for the same memory. Someone just mixed the SX (Which is the correct way to designate the memory) with XS.
