GM63
I'm not sure if I received an improperly assembled HS1 headset but wanted to offer the following; When a volume control is attached to the wiring of a headset, the button to turn the volume down, or decrease it, it is generally the lower of the two buttons. The reasoning is that to "turn it down" you press the lower button just as you press the upper button to elevate or increase the sound. This is or has been an industry standard and can be traced back to the logic involved in positioning of controls in aircraft. Your placing the volume control in another position is confusing in that it makes no sense. If this has not been corrected please consider what I have tried to explain. Other than that, great headset.
Toasted
Not sure if that is normal. It may be best to put in a ticket and see whether it is normal or not for a headset replacement. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
