H100i link registry corruption? .NET HRESULT 0x80041321

First, link will not run at startup even though I have it checked in options. I have Norton and do not see it at all in startups to enable it or disable it.

I have: Corsair LINK Version 3.2.5695 on Win 7

When I run it, I get a .Net framework error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click

Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to

continue. If you click Quit, the application will close

immediately.

The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with. (Exception from

HRESULT: 0x80041321).

I hit continue and it seems I can control the cooler, but it is a pain to have to run it manually and of course the error message is no fun either. Please help.

I have fixed this issue. windows upgrade damaged the task scheduler registry.

go registry edit and remove corsair link.

and then manual add it back will solve this problem.

Please be more specific! I'm having the same problem and your instructions are too vague.
