Maurdekye
I posted this because there are a few keyboard shortucts for windows 8 that i'm having trouble binding to my keyboard, such as win + s. However, pressing this combination removes focus from the utility window and instead performs the key combination's action, in this case opening the search charm, without recording the button combination. Corsair's half-baked fix for this includes having a drop-down menu of common key shortcuts that remove focus from the utility when performed, or otherwise prevent the actions from being recorded normally (win + l, alt + F4, etc.). However, this list doesn't include the combination that I want to record, that being win + s. Is it possible for me to record this action?
Fyrel
Write the keystroke in any text field and you can then copy and paste it into the keystroke box
Maurdekye
That didn't work, and honestly, I didn't expect it to either. I'm fairly sure that text box is just an output for displaying whatever keys you last pressed. I copied the text "Meta+S" into the box and clicked OK, but it didn't save and was blank when I reopened the dialogue.
