Corsair Vengeance 2000 Button Broken?

First of all, I'm new to this forum, so don't hate on me for that. Anyways, I've had this headset for about a year and I love it. It's comfortable and sounds good. Unfortunately a few days ago, I went to wear the headset to watch some videos, and no sound came out. I observed that the blue power light was solid and would not go off as well as the orange power light. I tried pressing the power button and that changed nothing. I left it on overnight to see if "restarting" the headset from no charge would fix it. It did...for about 10 minutes. After that, the same thing happened. Now, when I press the button nothing happens and I'm not getting any sound. I was wondering if my headset is broken or if there is anything I can do about it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I would really appreciate any advice I can get.

Update: The headset only works when it is not plugged in, is this normal?

Once the battery has discharged, fully recharge it before using it again.

 

After the full recharge (solid green), see if you can turn the headset on without it being plugged in.
