Default Cleaning the ear pads

Hey guys Ive been using the head phones for about a month now. And i noticed how there's lint or dust stuck to the pads. So i was wondering if there's a recommended way of cleaning the ear pads.

Will Water be okay? Or should i use tape? How do you guys clean them?

That is a great question and I would ask you to give me some time to check if mild soap and water can be used, but in the interim I would just use tape or a lint removal tool like for cloths.

EDIT: This is a quot from our Audio Team:

The foam pads are made with open cell foam, so they should not be immersed in water. A gentle wipe with a damp cloth on the fabric would be fine
