Default LGHT files and Profiles/Modes

I've been browsing the CUE manual, and it seems that the LGHT file(s) for a profile's default mode are shared by all modes in that profile. Is that basically correct? If so, and I wanted different colors for different modes, I'd have to create a profile for each mode with its own LGHT file(s)? Or is there a way to have different modes in the same profile utilize different LGHT files (with different names)?

Didn't find a thread that addressed this.

I already have a profile I downloaded from Corsair that includes its own LGHT files (three groups), but I want to create alternative (color) versions of it by modifying the LGHT files. I originally thought I could simply add additional modes to the profile with their own LGHT files, but if they all have to share the same LGHT files, that won't work. That would seem to indicate creating more profiles. Yes?

lght files, modes, profiles
