Default XFX 780i MB and TWIN2X4096-8500C5D ( 2pair)

Hi!
Just bought two pairs of TWIN2X4096-8500C5D (XMS2-8500 2048MB 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.1V ver 2.2) for my motherboard XFX 780i.
If I use one pair I can enable SLI Memory with 1066Mhz with 5-5-5-15.
But with two pairs it goes Disable because it isn't supported.
My question is, What is the best settings for my Motherboard when use stock settings for my CPU Q9650 3,0Ghz.
And what should I use if overclock CPU to 3,6Ghz?
At the moment I am running with 800Mhz 2,1v and 5-5-5-18.
Or, is it better to use only one pair of total 4Gb with sli settings? I am not sure if I need 8Gb, maby i can manage with 4Gb!
But it whould be great to have 8Gb with good settings.

Thanks!
Fredrik

As per the rules, please do not bump a thread within 24 hours. Also please note the hours of Corsair's Technical Support above. They will not see this thread for at least another 14 hours.

Why did you purchase 8 GB if you're not sure you need it? What is the primary function of this computer?

Sorry for bumping!
My computer are used for many things.
I work in Photoshop CS4, Solidworks, and gaming.
As far as it goes with gaming it should be enough.
But wen using Photoshop i think I will get advantage of 8Gb of ram.
Please correct me if I am wrong!

Thanks
Fredrik

Default Tried some tests.

So, I ave tried some settings for my rams.
Can someone just tell me if I can use this settings, it has been tested with Prime95 and Memtest with 0 errors.

Frequens:1000Mhz
Timings : 5-5-5-15 22
Volt : 2,1v
SPP Volt : 1,45v

I am using double pairs of twin2X4096-8500C5D and they have all 4 sticks same rev (2,1) And same serial.

Your settings look very good if the system is stable.
