HX850i can I add another 4 Pin CPU connector

I am looking to upgrade my PC and noticed that the newer board have an 8 pin CPU connector and also a 4 pin that my HX850i doesn't have. Can I purchase a cable to add this in or will I need a new power supply? Looking at the cable sockets on the power supply I am not sure if I have room for another 8 pin CPU connector as I have all 4 PCI cables in for my SLI 970's. Has anyone upgraded to the newer boards and used their HX850i?

You should be OK using pigtail connections for the 970's ... that would free up a PCI/CPU connector on the PSU.

And yes, you can purchase this cable from Corsair.com directly. This is the stock version: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Power-Supplies/Type-3-Flat-Black-Ribbon-Cable-EPS12v-ATX12v-4%2B4-pin%2C-Compatible-with-all-type-3-pin-out-PSU/p/CP-8920128

Thanks for the reply what do you mean by pig tail connectors? Like a splitter for the GPU's to give two connectors from one cable? Thanks for the link to the additional CPU connector, thinking about it I think I have one of those spare as I changed my cables for white braided ones.

I was looking at the spec sheet for the HX850i and it said it has 6 PCIE connectors and 2 EPS12V connectors. Is this a newer version of the HX850i? It looks to have the same amount of cable sockets on the power supply as mine so I am not sure how they add the additional PCIE cables and CPU cables.
