Installing SDK

Extract the download to like C:\CUE\ or something and then download and install visual studio 2017 (it is free). I think the out of the box default selections are fine. Takes a while.

 

Reboot.

 

Open C:\cue\examples\ and pick one of them. Open the .sln file in Visual studio and then open up the related .cpp file. It will ask you to update the targets, hit yes. Then basically just hit ctrl f5 and everything will compile. Be sure you download the newer sdk, not the v1 copy linked at the top of the sticky thread, that had some errors in the one example i had to fix before it would compile but it was also lacking newer features.

 

LFX runs along side it, i have not used it yet though
