Default Try manually pairing the dongle?

http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-200...g-headset.html

Scroll down, it says to use a pin to manually pair the dongle with the headset.

Maybe that's the issue?

Just to let you guys know. I have the exact same problem at this moment. The blue and red lights are solid. And the blue light is off when I disable the dongle. When I enable the dongle and press the power button it goes to soldid blue again.

I disconnected the charging cable and will wait for it to drain.

Got the same problem here...solid blue and amber light:( Never had this problem before, I even left my headset plugged in overnight for a full charge. Is it possible to overcharge them? Really like the headphones, great sound, light weight etc...but this problem is just putting me off of them.

Ok I'm Uncharging them now, (is there such a word?), USB dongle is plugged in, blue and amber lights are still solid...2hrs and counting.

P.S. Sorry about hijacking your thread

Same issue here,

1. I am having the lights issue on occasion (see below)
2. I am also having an issue with MicroUSB not staying in place, it wiggles out when i'm wearing them without putting any stress on the cable, I have had this since I purchased them but have been living with it, though the above issue has driven me to post here
3. The extension hub for the receiver stops the receiver from working, I have always had to plug it in directly.
4. I live in New Zealand, I don't want to pay a fortune sending them in for RMA, I have several corsair products and have never had a problem with them so I am not sure how much this would cost.

Heres the pic of my lights issue:

1. I'd suggest RMAing the headset if it has happened occasionally.
2. Have you tried a different MicroUSB cable?
Check the charging port and see if there is any dust or dirt that may prevent the cable from connecting properly.
3. Have you tried the extension cable on another computer? Does it still do the same thing?

I would, but do I have to pay shipping to USA?

Yes I have tried several, they all fall out as easy and they also cause the orange light of death (lol)

There is not, its just finally discharged as I made this post, it made a loud buzzing sound which got louder and louder just before it completely discharged. It now charges again normally, but this happens every now and then which leads to me being unable to use the headset for several hours each time...

Yes, my GF's PC does the same thing. It works as a normal USB extension cable for other devices, but when the V2000 adapter is plugged into it, the adapter lights up but fails to send anything to the headset

You'll pay shipping to Hong Kong if you request an RMA.

Ok, and will they pay the return shipping?

Edit: Oh and theres a chunk of plastic above the right earpiece missing, only just noticed it now. But it seems to just be physical I doubt thats causing the issue. I am very careful with them IDK how that occurred and its on the *inside*?!?

Edit: Ticket #6007335

Default happening for first time after months of daily use.

Suffering same situation, tried replacing drivers until this thread was found. Blue unblinking light and amber unblinking light. Occurred after the headset had run out of charge and beeping sound was heard. Headset then left to charge overnight and during day. Will try the manual pairing using the dongle and let the charge run out also.

I bought the vengeance 2000 and recieved them a couple of days ago. I fully charged them after unpacking and used them alot for the first few days... And got the beeping battery warning earlier today. For some reason they don't work, and the amber and blue light is constantly on.. Needless to say im not very impressed or happy with my purchase when it takes exactly 3 days for them to stuff up. Trying to let them use all battery now as others suggested.

Just to add another example to the list.
Same behaviour : the "orange light of death" as mentioned in a previous post.
It has happened 3 times this month: no common root cause found.
Once it was discharged, once it was fully charged but happened after the PC came back from stand-by mode, and the 3rd happened after a USB port change.

Only solution found, as mentoined by other users is to wait ful discharge, for hours ...

I have been experiencing frequent disconects. I stream alot of radio...it cuts out frequently. Its not the streaming thats the problem because I have no sound anywhere else. I plug in my headset every night. This morning the same then I couldn't reconect at all....gasp! I have the dreaded solid blue and amber lights. I can't get the darn thing to work no matter what I do! Let the charge run down maybe?
