Default Running the pump on a H110i GT in "quiet mode" without using Corsair LINK

I'm not using Corsair LINK and my pump is running at full speed all the time.

Is it possible to activate the "quiet mode" without using Corsair LINK?

Default

No, not as far as I know, however, you can install Link, set the cooler to Quiet and the LED colour to the colour you want, then uninstall Link. My H110i GT is still running the settings from a previous installation (in a different case and motherboard) where Link actually recognised it.

Arrow Yes, but you have to use some software.

Yes, but you have to use some software. The protocol is defined in http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=663107 and I found it quite easy to write my own code to do this.
