Difference between Neutron XT CSSD-N480GBXT and CSSD-N480GBXTB

I just purchased a Neutron XT SSD. Model CSSD-N480GBXTB:

There is, from what I can tell, an exact same model that does not end in "B", CSSD-N480GBXT:

Corsair's website has identical content for both pages as does NewEgg. Yet the Corsair suggested pricing is $70 difference:

$229: CSSD-N480GBXTB

$299: CSSD-N480GBXT

Can anyone explain the differences between the 2 models and why one would be significantly more cost effective over the other?

For anyone interested, I did submit this same question to Corsair Support since this thread went un-answered. Here is the information provided:

  1. One is a newer version with different manufacturer, that's all. There's really no other reason to purchase the XT"B" over the other SKU.

  2. The price delta is due to different chip manufacturer, although they have the same specification, the chips were from different maker.

Even though they are both built to the same spec, I'm hoping that the less expensive version isn't built using inferior component. Otherwise, good on Corsair for finding a more competitive chip manufacturer which reduces our consumer costs quite a bit.
