Default Memory failing?

Hello all, I have been having some issues with my PC crashing. I have been doing some research went into a few PC help chatrooms and people told me to run Memtest. So last night before bed, I ran memtest with 2 of my dominator platinum sticks in and it crashed twice within 20 minutes, so I took 1 stick of ram out and re-ran the memtest and it ran for 8 hours and didnt have any errors. What are the odds of the one stick of ram being the cause of my crashes?

It is possible for a single memory stick to fail. Since memory have a lifetime warranty, go ahead and submit a RMA to have it replaced.
