screwtech02
Anyone have a 780T with a 45mm rad (70mm installed with push/pull)? Wondering how much the rad/fans stick into the 5.25 bay as I was hoping to use a bay res with 2 pumps for my loops. Not much "crystal clear" information to be gleamed on the web about the subject. Just the standard "top rad may make 5.25 drive bay unusable", ect.. Any help/insight would be appreciated before I make this case purchase. :sunglasse
snapper69
I can't help with the main problem, but if you install a 45mm rad with push/pull, won't that be 95mm (2 x 25mm fans plus a 45mm rad)rather than 70 mm?
screwtech02
The 70mm was just the rad and lower fans, the top fans will be under the upper cover. Using 25mm fans above, and below the rad. Rad itself it 45mm thick.
Corsair Blake
The 360mm radiator will fit just fine. Around 1/4 of the radiator gets swallowed up by the ODD. If you don't plan on placing anything in the ODD, you can always remove it.
screwtech02
Nice, I am planning on using a Monsoon dual bay res with a single D5 setup, and hard plumb it all.
Corsair Blake
Nice, I am planning on using a Monsoon dual bay res with a single D5 setup, and hard plumb it all. If you were going to go bay res, I would forgo the 360mm and stick to a 240mm just to be safe. You can still get adequate cooling from a pair of 240mms.
