Default Corsair link 4 and motherboard problems. Easy fix?

I everyone! I just recently bought a brand spanking new build from a friend and i could use some knowledge. I have a Corsair H100i v2 connected to a Gigabyte z270 hd3 mobo. In corsair link 4 the h100i v2 fan says 0 rpm's and stays there and the pump reads 800 rpm's so i then went into my bios and went to easy mode then to smart fan 5 and beside cpu fan speed control i set from normal to full speed and now the h100i v2 fan is reading 1,200 - 1,300 rpms and the pump at 1,700 - 1,800 rpms and also a reminder i have not manually changed anything in corsair link 4 since I've purchased the Computer and also the corsair profile is set to balance. My cpu is a 7th gen i5 7600k 3.80 ghz mobo is a gigabyte z270 hd3.

Confused I am not clear what you are asking.

Looking at then you need to set 100% and this should have been set when the cooler was installed.
