Hi Does the CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid work with i7 7700k kabylake processor or do i need v2

Thumbs up The H100i should be fine

The H100i should be fine and you don't need a H100iV2.

Arrow Don't use too much TIM

If you have used it before make sure you clean off the old TIM, I use IPA.

Don't use too much TIM, about the size of a small pea

have one on my kaby and it works just fine. will still hit in the 70c area under full load unless you do the delid mod on the cpu, i did and dropped my max temps into the high 50's.
