I do love the look of it, looks amazing with my set up but damn cable management is horrific! Took a long time to get that back panel to close. Luckily no one has to see that disaster.

It’s such a battle that I even considered going back to my air 540 but I think I might get something bigger when I change motherboard.

About to buy the 500D SE and I want to go all out with RGB so I want to make sure I have the correct number of fans. I want to to do a push/pull for my h150i.

I plan to use the 3 included LL120s to mount in front of the H150i and 3 HD120s on the other side. I would then get 2 LL140s for the top to be used as intake and a single LL120 in the rear as my sole exhaust. Am I missing anything?

Nope you have everything you need.. I would run the HD fans rgb off of the h150i and all the LL fans rgb off of the commander pro via the rgb fan led hub... have you read my rgb Faq? .. If not.. its in my signature below ;)...

Perfect! Yes I love your diagram and I will be using that. Will I need any type of splitters? I just want to make sure I have everything the first time.

These were the fan kits I was getting.

I finally have some pics I can share of my 500D SE RGB, jus got everything in today and finished putting it all together. Still need to clean up the wiring a bit more, but I didn't want to go all out on cable management yet in case I needed to change any wiring once I got everything running and started messing around in iCue.

Some people asked me to share pics a while back, so here they are! (if this works properly lol. Ive actually never shared pics on here yet!)

Beautiful set up / cable management. Can i achieve something similar with non sleeve pro psu cables?

I bought a 500d RGB for my first ground up PC build, and I decided before I began that with such a stunning case cable management will be key, and being a bit OCDish at the best of times I figured I can make something which displays as close to zero cabling as possible.

Inside was easy enough to keep tidy, not a cm more cable exposed anywhere than was absolutely necessary.

The back, on the other hand...

I left it like this for a week or so while I ran the PC to make sure I wasn't going to have to change any components and then decided to get to it.

It seemed a fairly daunting task, but some logical thought and grouping of cables in a step by step manner and a lot of zip ties later it came together quite nicely.

On the whole I am very glad I chose this case, and having selected it ran with the Corsair ecosystem throughout, the CMDR Pro and Hub seems complex but this forum helped enormously, and I've wound up with a PC I'm as happy looking at as working or gaming on.

node pro and 6 strips behind the glass and a reverse cut sheet of sticky black vinyl stuck on the inside of the glass with a layer of white to defuse the RGBz.. any local window/car graphics shop can make it up for you...
