Baio Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Hi there, Talking about THE question about RAM and Ryzen (lower timings or higher speeds?) many say the turning point is 3400MHz and 14CL. I'm gonna get rid of my actual G.Skill kit (F4-3600C16D-16GTZR) as I can't make them stable even @stock values and don't know why everytime some BIOS setting fails, I have to set every single speed step from 2133 to 3600 to put them back to their frequency. And that's very frustrating, as I takes me 20 minutes of reboots everytime. So I decided to switch to a Corsair kit… which RGB model do you suggest me to plug into an Asus ROG Crosshair Hero 7 WiFi? Ryzen can definitely be finicky with memory. 3600mhz is pretty much a hard cap for Ryzen using 2 sticks and 3200mhz for all 4 DIMMs filled. The kit linked below would be great for Ryzen.
