EMD45 Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 It's been 5 month to day I purchased this psu. Now I can't play games like S.C.U.M. because my computer shuts down. In fact I can't even run Heaven Benchmark, Pc shuts down in seconds. Ran cine bench and nothing, ran Hot Cpu Tester and nothing happened. Pc only shuts down when attempting to play games or trying to run Heaven benchmark. Can anyone verify that it is indeed the psu that is the root cause. Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted February 5, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 5, 2020 Make sure you are powering your 2070 with separate PCIe cables per power connections on the GPU itself in order to make sure your GPU receives the necessary power to run as the new RTX series of cards pull more power than a single cable from the PSU is able to provide consistently.
