Markboi19
Hi i have recently built my new PC, and i decided to go for a Corsair water cooler and i went with the H80iGT, after getting my new PC going i saw that the water cooler would work for a few seconds then make a USB discount sound and turn off. After looking up online i haven't found anything... I have installed new drivers installed Corsair Link and still nothing it is very weird. Any help with why this is happening would be great since i can not run my PC because of the temp being unstable for me OC my CPU. Thanks in advance! (Things i have tried, removing the USB cable into my motherboard, didn't make a difference, updating my Bios still didn't make a difference.) red-ray
I suspect you need to disable Q-Fan control in the BIOS.

Markboi19
I have found a way for it to work, you go into the QFAN and turn everything to manual and seems to make it work for some reason but am glad it works thanks.
Markboi19
Hi, If you would like to look at my previous post you can (link here http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156616 ) but the problem i thought i had fixed has sadly returned, if anyone knows how to fix this problem it would be amazing because it does make my PC unstable due to it turning off, thanking in advance. :sigh!:
Corsair Employee Fauxbeard Posted March 22, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 22, 2016 What happens when you plug the H80i GT pump into an external USB port with a mini USB to USB-A cable?
Markboi19
I went into AI Suite 3 and went to tune the fans to see if that made a difference and when i did auto-tune all the fans and the CPU cooler turned on, i then cancelled that and it just stayed on, i then restarted my PC and it just worked. so am happy that i found a solution thanks anyway!
