ML 120 fans aren't working properly

I got 4 of the ML120 and an RGB light strip pack about a month ago and after plugging each fan into the motherboard and the fan controller, and that into the node-pro, I fired up my machine. none of the fans lights turned on, they spun but were lightless, I downloaded LINK and ICUE, the link recognized the node and showed the fan speed but told me to go to ICUE, I go to ICUE, it shows me the node and the fan speed but I can't do anything with it, no matter what I change nothing happens, I looked everywhere for a fix and nothing came up. As for the RGB lights, they are always lit up with colors I didn't choose and ICUE does nothing. please help, I've tried everything for a month and nothing works.

What exactly is the current state? In your opening description you say the fans lights are off, then they are “always lit up”.

Your statement above suggests you are talking about fan speed. You don’t have a fan controller in the iCUE system and thus must be plugged into your motherboard or another fan controller. Control is through your motherboard’s BIOS fan features. You cannot change fan speed from within iCUE without a Corsair fan controller. All of the suggestions above relate to the RGB Lighting Hub, Lighting Node Pro, and the lighting wire that comes from each fan to the RGB hub.

OK, so motor control fine, but the RGB lighting does not respond to iCUE directions. You tell it do green static, color wave, marquee, whatever... and the display changes but the fans are still dark.

As suggested above, take the fan in slot 1 on the small RGB lighting hub and swap it with fan 2. These things work in series, so bad fan 1 can kill the chain.

Check your SATA power line for the RGB Lighting Hub. All the lighting power comes from this device. Try a different connection or separate PSU SATA line to see if things change.

The last thing would be to replace/swap in a new RGB hub, but only after all other options are checked. The LNP appears to be fine since you can see the fans in iCUE.

So I tried all the thing and nothing worked, fans are still not lighting. switched fans around again on the controller, switched the SATA power line, Nothing. Also, I don't think the fan controller is the problem or the fans themselves because the RGB strips also don't get affected by the ICUE. so it might be the node but that gets picked up by ICUE but not altered.
