Default H90 Backplate not fitting Gigabyte X370 Gaming K5 (SOLVED)

Hey folks,
Building a new system and bought the H90 as the cooling solution for the CPU. However, the backplate doesn’t line up with the holes on the motherboard I have - Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K5.

They are miles off.

Here is a photo of the backplate for the H90 siting on the backplate I removed from the motherboard. I have the top left holes aligned, and as you can see, the other 3 are completely off.

I did my research and checked to see that the H90 would fit this motherboard and it said it would.

Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,
Col

Okay, it looks like I need to order an AMD4 retention bracket kit.

I wish the sites that told me this was compatible mentioned this fact and I’d have ordered the bracket at the same time :(
