Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted June 6, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 6, 2019 Do you live in a region of the world where the outlets are 230v? If so it is more likely to happen and doesn't mean the PSU is faulty.

Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted June 6, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 6, 2019 Ya there is still power flowing to the PSU even with your computer off. In regions with outlets at 230v you are more likely to hear an electrical buzzing sound even while the computer itself is off.
Vegan
in places I have been with 230V the general noise levels are more noticeable with a wide range of appliances if you want absolute silence, use a power bar with a switch and then cut the power completely
