QuaZar-Kid Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Corsair experts and fanatics I am installing my new RM850x and using a fancy colored CableMod Pro set that is listed as RM compatible - and yet - the 24pin ATX that comes with the cablemod kit doesn't have the matching number of pins... :bigeyes: is this a deal breaker..? or is the smaller secondary connector compatible with blank pin holes on the power supply ? damnengineer Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 They need to match, sure you have the c-series black label? It needs to specifically say it's RMx compatible, not just RM.
