  1. I just got a 5000D Airflow case and am wondering where to put my 360 CPU AIO radiator. Can the AIO be attached to the front such that the fans are towards the front of the case and the radiator is towards the inside of the case? If so, I'd like to put the AIO in the front pulling air in. Then put a fan at the top and a fan at the back both pushing air out. If the radiator can't be attached to the front with the fans towards the front of the case, then I would probably put the radiator at the side pulling air in with the fans towards the inside of the case. In this setup, I would also have a fan in the front pulling air in, and a fan in the back pushing air out. The top would have no fans. What do you think?
  2. Just thought I'd add that since replacing my system with a Z390 Asus motherboard, I have not had any issues with screen freezes or going black. It only happened on my old X79 Asus board. I know others have mentioned that they have not seen this on Z390 boards either, but just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents since I have been running the full install of iCUE for about one week now with no problems.
  3. I'm going to be upgrading my main system to a Z390 mobo with a 9900K shortly. Has anyone heard of this issue happening on those systems? I'm going to load iCUE with everything running normally when I set up the new system, but at the first sign of a black screen issue I'll be turning off the Corsair Service and renaming the service-related files. I don't want any crashing on my fresh new system!
  4. Hey guys. I just finished my testing today and sent Corsair James the results by PM with details. In case anyone is interested, here are the summarized results I had on my system over the past couple of weeks or so. Test #1: Black screen DOES appear. Test #2: Black screen DOES NOT appear. Test #3: Black screen DOES appear. Test #4: Black screen DOES NOT appear. Test #5: Black screen DOES appear. Hopefully Corsair finds this useful and figures this thing out. Until this is fixed, I'm just going to run iCUE like normal, but I'm going to leave the "Corsair Service" service disabled. Sure, I won't have temp monitoring etc. but at least I'll have my G key macros working which is the most important thing I use iCUE for anyway.
  5. The new system I'm going to build will be on a new Asus Z390 chipset so hopefully it will not have the same issue with iCue that I am having on my current X79 board. (Fingers crossed)
  6. For those like me who are new to this thread, the testing Corsair James is asking for may be found here earlier in this thread (on page 4): http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showpost.php?p=962898&postcount=46 I'll do what I can James and send you my results as soon as I get through all the tests.
  7. Wow, I just found this thread today after about 3 months of having this exact issue and countless hours of reinstalling windows 10 and trying to figure out what was causing my black screens. To say I am relieved to finally get some confirmation that it is iCue-related is an understatement! That just confirms what I found about a week ago - that uninstalling iCue resolves the problem. I am actually rebuilding a new system in the next few weeks (as soon as I can get all the parts) so I would be happy to help troubleshoot and provide some data from my current system since I won't be using it too much longer. I'll try to go back through the thread to find where Corsair James describes what he needs and send it to him via private message as I think he asked. FYI, I too am using an Asus Sabertooth X79 board with an i7-4820K CPU. I don't overclock anything. My graphics card is an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2. I've got the latest non-beta BIOS, latest nvidia drivers, and the last version of iCue I tried is 3.8.91. I run Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and keep up to date in general (I just let MS push updates when they're ready).
