  1. I got my 2nd set of keycaps for my home keyboard, and did notice something similar to the smuge mentioned earlier. However, it was only on 2 keys, and a quick buff with a cloth took it off. Must be some manufacturing residue in my case, as it cleaned off with a little effort. Neither set appears to have any alignment issues, even when looking for them. Maybe I am not as observant, or the issue is not widespread? I'm happy with my 2 sets, at least!
  2. Here is a set on my K95 RGB MX Blue at work. Pardon the absolutely horrid cell phone camera. The G-keys are the stock keycaps, which let a bit more light through. I will have to go tweak my lighting profiles to darken them a hair to match the new keys. The new keycaps feel amazing, though. Since I use that keyboard 10 hours/day, I think it was worth the cost. Now I am trying to justify a 2nd set for my K95 at home too.
  3. I'll post a pic when mine show up! Supposedly in tomorrow, I went for the more subtle black keys.
  4. I've had my order in with Amazon since October 18th, still not shipped. But this is par for the course with Corsair, sadly. I waited many (MANY) months to get my K95 RGB with MX Blue switches. Though I have discovered that Corsair has been worth the wait. My K95 with MX Blues is a masterpiece, and was worth the wait. I am just figuring these keycaps will be worth the wait too. Heck, I've been waiting for these since February 26th, 2016. It's been 623 days, what's another couple weeks?
  5. I actually like the Corsair bottom row layout over the other brands. That is one of the reasons I bought the Corsair. And there are a few places online you can get keycaps for the Corsair layout, but yeah, not as many options. That's why I hope this set comes out eventually!
  6. I waited for what seemed like years for the K95 RGB with MX Blues to come out, and I survived that wait. I will survive this wait, and pick up 2 sets for my K95s. Not like there is a competing double-struck set for the K95... That being said, I wish you could give us more than verbal reassurance that this is happening, but I know what it is like to work on a new product and not be able to tell customers details. Sucks for everyone. We want to know, you want to show off progress, but the dang managers won't have it
  7. Excellent! Thanks for keeping us informed.
  8. I'd pay $50-60 for a full set for the K95 RGB. I'm already getting some signs of wear on the stock keycaps. I use a K95 RGB (with MX Blues!) for programming 10 hours/day, so I can't complain. As for the font, I seem to be the odd man out who prefers the K95 font to the STRAFE font. It just looks cleaner, and I don't like the all-caps "CAPS LOCK" (etc) on the STRAFE as much. I would still get it with the STRAFE font, I just prefer the K95 font. If we are wishing for things, here are some things I would love to see. To be clear, I will buy a set anyway, but having these would be extra nice: Symbols for special/modifier keys (instead of text) Include the G-keys for K95! Corsair logo instead of Windows logo (include both in kit?) For the special/modifier keys, I was thinking something like WASD Keyboards' "Symbols" style. Specifically, the Insert/Delete/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn/Tab/Caps Lock/Shift keys. Wandering completely off into left field, I'd love to see one where the letters/numbers are replaced with Alien Language 1 from Futurama. Probably not much of a market for those keycaps, though. :(: I'd pay a horrifying amount of money for a set with Alien Language 1 and the symbols for the special keys.
  9. Surely you mean 4.95 volts, not 5.95 volts? :!: Because 6 volts is not at all in the USB spec. Incidentally, my motherboard also has the SuperCharger feature, yet I had the freezing problem. I am not convinced it is a power issue. I think it has something to do with thread affinity or race conditions encountered with the combination of the Corsair software, Corsair driver, and Intel 77-series (& other?) chipset drivers.
  10. Interesting, I have the previous generation of the motherboard you have (Z77-GD65 Gaming), and when plugging my K95 into the USB 3.0 port on the motherboard, it would freeze. I think it has less to do with "poor" chipset (since we both run an Intel chipset), and more to do with some software/firmware compatibility issues. After reading this thread, I instead plugged it into the USB 2.0 hub on my monitor with both connectors, and so far, no issues! So this might be a possible workaround until Corsair fixes the problem.
