  1. Or is there a way to change the iCUE critical collant temp level to a higher value so that the system won't panic all the time?
  2. Guys, the problem is still there, its quite stable now and it really seems the CPU coolant temperature sensor is somehow misplaced: it shows high abnormal temperatures, but still the value seems to depend on the overall temperature of the system. If the PC was idle - it is about 55 degrees, if i was gaming - it gets to 60-65. My question is: where is that sensor located inside the cooler? Can I disassemble the cooler to check?
  3. Hah, it happened again! After several weeks. Lol, seems we do not know the actual reason yet 8-) Lets assume its magic. Bloody voodoo magic ))
  4. All, so far so good! Havent noticed the issue since i set the fan to custom. I must gladly admit the fan is still getting to higher speeds automatically when needed! So this setup is actually the same as in default mode. I m happy 🙂
  5. Yeah, it's not a big deal. Anyway, i did set the fan to custom in icue and now waiting for the issue to reproduce. Two days - working well so far. Will report back later.
  6. @zguy85, just to be sure you understood me correctly: the issue is not in constant wrong fan speed. The problem is that sometimes the temperature of CPU coolant jumps to high values and the system automatically sets the fan to 100% and flashes the lights. After some time the temperature gets back to normal together with fan and light. I will set the fan to custom and wait for the issue to reproduce anyway. thx
  7. So, after a clean windows installation the issue is still there. Any recommendations? Pump replacement?
  8. I will perform a clean windows installation and see if it helps. It did affect the cooler behavior last time when I had another issue with fan speeds.
  9. Guys, I did a clean uninstallation of ICUE, used the link provided by Corsair Mordred. The issue occurs with no iCUE software installed at all: the system sets the fan to 100% and flashes the red lights on the case. Seems its hardware..
  10. Dear, I have been on a vacation, will try to reproduce the issue after I am back home next week. Will update you guys, thanks a lot!
  11. Did that. I disconnected the usb and the two out of three slim cables. All the same, the symptom occurs from time to time.
  12. Could it be a liquid cooler hardware issue? An air bubble?
  13. Reverting to iCUE 3.38.88 didn't help. The symptom remains. I checked the hardware. I removed the cooler, changed the thermal compound. There was no dust. Now assembled everything back and the issue occurred at once. https://disk.yandex.ru/i/gDaai_kXJnvE_Q https://disk.yandex.ru/i/3AXBEsOhdYHWig
  14. Reverting to iCUE 3.38.88 didn't help. The symptom remains. I will now try to check the hardware. Will remove the cooler, clean the dust etc.
