Indeed - I've heard it's shin-etsu? I've certainly found it to produce impressive results, though I was surprised how much was actually pre-applied.

It's not quite that straightforward - while moving air creates noise and there's nothing anyone can do about that, many fan designs do not focus the air flow as tightly as possible, and hence need to...

Tbh I swear by my Noctua NF-F12 fans, which are pretty much the quiet fans that push enough air through described above as not existing. In comparison to the stock fans they're roughly the same for...

Is there a chance that you bent the pins or damaged the connectors when swapping fans? Your initial temps sounded fine but the temps you're talking about now make it sound like your fans aren't...

To be fair, while it's self-evident water cooling brings greater risks, the design should take all steps possible to prevent this kind of thing and there should recompense if they fail. This is...

Due to what I assume is the use of windows HID drivers, ghost icons can also appear if you plug the USB cable into a different header or hub. Have you changed this? It creates a new set of readings...

Tbh it's almost always worth getting PWM fans - the price difference isn't that big a deal and it's always better to be able to fine-tune fan speeds. Odds are that if you're going through the fuss of...

Standard practice if there's a connection issue is to use a USB a-b cable and try connecting to outside slots - these are less prone to device conflicts which tends to be the main reason for these...

I had a similar issue getting my H80i to connect to Link.

A common fix is to use a USB a-b cable to link the water block to one of the outside USB ports. The Link software uses basic windows HID...
