  1. Hay guys, It's been a while now since my last post and I've been struggling with this issue all the way. Today I'm here to say that I found a fix or work around that has worked for me. Someone else said that they get no flat line when they use the pre-programmed fan curves (Quiet, Balanced and Extreme). After one of the updates I lost my fan curve and got so frustrated and just left it on balanced, then I started to notice that my Dashboard is not giving me flat bars! Yes! At this point I was excited and created another custom fan curve be cause I though an update has fixed the issue, but it did indeed not fix the issue for me... :( after I created the custom curve it wasn't long before the flat bars came back to haunt me.. Then After sitting and watching my PC for hours on end to see what the hell is going on and why this might be the matter I finally saw something that I found useful.. I'm an Asus motherboard user (Asus Z370 Prime A), on windows startup I have their app (AI Suite) that opens up and it measures all of the fancy thing you'd come to expect from motherboard software. I ran burn in test a couple of times with my corsair on a normal balanced curve and with my Z370 on a custom curve, both these applications were measuring the CPU temperature directly.. Or so I thought.. It seems to me that the pre-programmed fan curves measure the temperature from the Cooler itself and not from the CPU.. So that's why iCUE didn't flat line, iCUE was reading temps from the cooler block itself and my Asus software was reading temps from the CPU itself.. If that makes sense.. I setup a fan curve (reading my water block temps) to confirm that this was the case and I have not yet had a flat bar since then.. NEAT!! :D Continuing with the struggle I went as far as uninstalling my AI Suite (Asus Software) and set up the fan curves and such in the BIOS and then came back to iCUE and set a custom fan curve to read temps from the CPU itself and it's been running a few days now and I have not yet had once single flat bar. Earlier in this thread someone also stated that they thought iCUE had an issue reading CPU temps if another application is already reading these temps and that also helped me on this adventure. I think Corsair should maybe check this out? Create iCUE software specific to motherboard manufactures and have iCUE read the CPU temps from the motherboard's software? I don't know something like that.. I'm only a programmer not a software engineer.. XD It can maybe work as a quick fix until they can find a way to solve the issue 100% Just thought I would share my findings.. P.S. Sorry for my English :D
  2. Reinstalled everything.. Formatted PC and installed everything from scratch.. Went back to link + CUE software and everything worked great! Then it had an update.. Sitting with this crap iCUE once again.. Came back to my PC just now after a hour and all my iCUE shows is flat lines.. My PC didn't do anything, yet corsair service stopped responding.. All and all I must say the new iCUE software is for sure better than the corsair support service, these people ain't helping us at all
  3. Another desperate bump here! Running the H115i Cooler and I saved the static light and cooling profile to the cooler, but the Corsair Service hang still breaks everything. Found my CPU at boiling temps when iCUE crashed at the start of a gaming session, running some expensive hardware with faith in the ever failing iCUE Software.. Is there any update from Corsair with regards to the issue? This thread is 11 pages long and going strong, they're losing clients due to the crappy software. I have a suggestion to resolve the issue a bit faster though.. Since corsair ain't responding we can maybe head over to the Linus tech tips forums and make ourselves heard over there? It's worth a shot.. We can reference this thread and hear if there's anyone else that has the issue..
  4. Hay guys.. It's 2019 now and I still have this problem.. I've had the Corsair voids a while.. When corsair link and CUE was split into two different applications everything was amazing had the best headset ever and didn't have to worry about anything, it was Always ready.. It seems as if though my headset is no longer functioning like it did ever since the new iCUE software released and Corsair Link was no longer needed.. 1st issue: Corsair H115i does not remember settings.. Every time I turn of my computer it reverts back to old colours and the fan curve I fine tuned is just gone.. I found a work around for this error with a batch file that restarts the Corsair services on each start-up.. So that fixed this issue kinda... 2nd Issue: I can't at all use my headset while it's plugged into my computer at all.. and before you ask.. I've checked the cable and I've checked the headset multiple times they are both working 100% on the hardware side, but since iCUE Every time I try and use my headset while plugged in my Windows 10 freaks.. It keeps making the "usb device disconnected" sound like every second or every 2 seconds.. I've learnt myself to charge the headset when I'm AFK but on the days I forget it'll be nice to be able to use the headset as I once did.. 3rd Issue: The "Auto Shutdown Initiated" bug since I've had the void I had the auto shut down enabled because it's a neat function that can save a ton of battery life especially with the abovementioned charging issue, but I play 5 mins and auto shut down is initiated, this is not bound to any type of game or software the error occurs with any type of media, YouTube, Netflix, Dota, battlefield, etc. The only way I can work around this issue is to disable/enable the Mic every time it initiates the auto shut down.. Can someone please direct me in the right way.. Never have I ever had to deal with 3 issues from 1 company at the same time.. I take care of my stuff.. If I have to transport my headset I do so with original packaging.. I'm on the point of getting rid of everything Corsair because of all the issues.. It's SUPER frustrating.. I paid good money for these components.. So please... Thank you..
