  1. I got prompted to update the firmware on my K95 PlatXT yesterday. I experienced 2 issues: 1. Immediately after the upgrade keyboard lighting did not work at all. The only way I was able to get it to work was changing the polling rate from 1000Hz to 500Hz. Then it worked, and continues to work after changing it back to 1000Hz 2. No every time I unlock my PC the keyboard flashes like crazy for a couple seconds and then returns to normal. To me it appears that it is processing a backlog of "cached" animation from when the PC was locked. This one worries me a bit as I wonder...is that eating RAM in the background? Will it eventually crash with too much cached? etc.
  2. Installed Asus 3801 bios (beta) with AGESA 1.2.0.2 Problem still exists...keyboard randomy disconnects from iCue
  3. So, while I understand your response....that is INSANE. What you're saying is that to use Corsair hardware, I cannot make use of the other hardware I've purchases that has similar features???? I understand that hardware monitoring is not a perfect art (it's always been tricky) but if you KNOW your software has a problem with this, then your software should be able to detect when it's in a bad state and restart itself.
  4. I've finally tracked down the problem with my cooling situation where my CPU temps would stay higher than they should. It is iCue. It stops updating my fan speeds AT ALL for no apparent reason. Even if set a manual speed to 100% and apply it to both fans, the RPMs don't change at all. If I restart the "Corsair Service" in windows services, the fans immediately adjust to what they are supposed to do. Is this some known problem, because right now I am afraid of my CPU cooking if I leave an encoding job running overnight.
  5. So this seems to happen "sometimes". In this screen shot attached, you can see my CPU is 71 C, and fans are ~1150pm (about 35% of max 3000 RPM) However you can also see that if the temp goes above 68% the fans are supposed to be running at 46%. Sometimes this seems to work properly, but other times it seems like iCue loses the ability to see my CPU temp. I've had it where my CPU temp is 84C and the fans still running at like 20%. Any ideas?
  6. Ok so I think I finally "get it", but it looks like there's no way to get what I want. So starting with a simple example. In order to get the CTRL key to change the color of the Function keys I have to add them to a group. Then I apply the "On KeyPress" solid color and it works great....I press CTRL and the Function Key change color. Problem is that if I press one of the function keys they also all change color. So if I did what I wanted my entire keyboard would be blinking all the time.
  7. NICE! This is very close to what I need to get started! I see how you did the lighting, but I don't understand how it gets triggered. I must be missing something.
  8. I'm looking for sort of a "programmer's profile". What I want to do doesn't seem like it should be difficult, but I cannot figure out how to make it happen. I basically just want to be able to have the whole keyboard change colors while I'm holding the CTRL or ALT or Shift Keys. For example, - My alpha numeric keys are Blue and the Function Keys are yellow - I hold down the CTRL key and.. - My alpha numeric keys are green, and the function Keys are orange. - Let go of CTRL and they go back to Blue/Yellow Does this make sense? Is it even possible?
