I am building a new pc which has the following components:
- ASUS dark hero motherboard that has 2 usb 2.0 headers (usb1213 and usb_e56 what's the difference?)
- Corsair 5000D RGB Airflow case (it has 3 AF120 RGB ELITE Fans and a lighting node - needs a usb 2.0 header)
- An extra AF120 RGB ELITE fan for the back exhaust of the case (connected to the case's node)
- A 3 fan AF120 RGB ELITE kit for the side fans (it has its own node - needs a usb 2.0 header)
- A Corsair iCUE H100i Elite LCD XT cpu AIO pump (it has 2 AF120 RGB ELITE fans, a commander (that needs a usb 2.0 header) and a usb 2.0 splitter included)
- And lastly, an H1000i power supply (needs a usb 2.0 header to connect with icue and show information)
So, if I understand correctly, I have 4 components (case's node, 3 fan kit node, AIO commander and H1000i) that need a usb 2.0 header but 3 actual headers if I use the splitter provided with the pump. Will the CORSAIR Internal 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub (CC-9310002-WW) solve my problem? If yes, in which motherboard header shall I connect it to? Shall I connect the fan nodes to it and leave the H1000i to connect to the motherboard directly? Did a search about it and came up with the nzxt internal hub gen 3 as a suggestion, will this work if the corsair does not?
Any advice is welcomed, thank you
