Look at CableMod (or similar) website for custom cables that plug directly into your PSU (if supported)... a bit expensive but a better solution than extension cables.

I don't have that AIO but I suppose the 2 RGB headers that come from it are something like master/slave, so the fan plugged in the 4 pin one acts like the master and the slave fan simply replicates...

Assuming you have set the right fan type within iCUE, the right connection is 1 to 3 ports.
Populating the first 3 ports on the Node Core, try to swap fans order and see if something changes.

It depends on which fans you have.
If they are normal fans, you need to grab a Commander Pro to manage their speed in iCUE.
If they are Corsair RGB fans you also need a RGB Hub or a Lighting Node...
