I guess what I'm asking is whether or not the current TRIM firmware for the P Series supports drives that aren't in NTFS format. The garbage collection firmware only supported NTFS formatted drives...

When Snow Leopard is out, I will most likely do a fresh install instead of an upgrade. Is the best way to erase the volume or repartition the drive?

I just wanted to report that my MBP 13" (mid 2009) with Crosair P128 is running fine (super fast). I upgraded EFI to 1.7 last night, and haven't noticed any negative side effects.

Lots of folks are reporting that their drives (not necessary SSD, but HD as well) are freezing randomly...
