Its taken 12 days to send it back and return which is reasonable

Now installed and working.

I only have a SATA II motherboard and originally bought the Force 3 with future upgrade in mind.

I choose the Force because it has SATA II speeds and doesn't have the freezing problems the Force 3...

I have updated the firmware to 1.3.2 but I am not willing to use it as my system drive. I will keep it running in the PC as a secondary drive. Done some benchmarking and so far so good.

Cloning does work if your current Windows installation is good, but the best way is to do a clean install if you don't mind the extra work involved.

Running "chkdsk c: /f" asks you if you want to do a check on the next boot as it can't unmount the drive. On the next reboot it does a proper check on the drive. It does the same thing.
