So been using a scimitar mouse to play wow since its introduction. But lately (a few months) it has been doing something weird it never used to do. So let me try explaining. I have always had an ability that is macro to F9 from (World of Warcraft) assigned to the Profile Switch button on the mouse. I then followed by disabling all profiles aside the default one. And even saving the the profile to the 3 slots in the hardware onboard memory. So when playing the game in the past I could press that button, the ability would be used and I would move on with my day. But as of recent times it now disables or changes to a ghost profile where none of the keys are assigned to anything on the first time I use that key when launching the game. It then if pressed again It goes back to the regular profiles and works as intended for the remainder of my session. If I am not paying attention or don't do this prior to being in involved in a demanding activity it causes a lot of trouble an annoyances. Like I said before I have used this same key assignments since the introduction of this mouse and just recently it started to be an issue... But I can't pinpoint when it started. But also there didn't use to be a key assignment and a hardware key assignment separate sections. Is there a setting I am missing here? Or is this just how the mouse works from now on?
