Power failure will not hurt a PC however any open work will be lost. Word etc save every few seconds so users need not worry about dodgy power companies.

I never did understand the use of a secondary ATX12V connector, its outright useless...

I let the boost do what it needs to do when the card is pushed hard

DDR4 RAM is fed from the regulators power and it runs at 1.2-1.35V. Not much uses 3.3V anymore. 5V is used by the USB mostly for support BCC 1.2 charging power etc.

This is why board have 2 EPS12V...
