JustSeth
Hey, I'm looking for new cooling solutions for my current PC. The CPU idles at around 40C and under load can reach 65C. I have 3 120 MM fans on the back, 1 120 MM on the bottom, and 2 140 MM fans on the front. I assume the high idle temperature is caused by the higher voltage required for the DDR3 2400MHz. I was considering a H100i to replace my two top fans, any advice is appreciated. Edit: Currently using Hyper EVO 212 for CPU cooling.
snapper69
I doubt that the idle temp is caused by the memory voltage, it's more likely to be caused by your room temp.
