So Assignment ID for those buttons since they dont exist they have to be manually added in for the buttons to work. #WhyK65HazNoWheel

That makes sense, because the other converted profiles for the K65 have the same issue with the volume buttons. Thank you for the hard work you've done though, having the lighting modes for other keyboards is fantastic. It's just a shame there's a lack of K65 users and the difficulty of sharing lighting profiles between different keyboards.

To be honest i think there is a lack of K65 users because there is a physical lack of keyboards. Ill take a look and see how to get it fixed

The K65 is a Best buy exclusive is probably why. I have one. Would love to see more profiles for it.

I agree 1000% :D:

Sovano 11-02-2014 01:48 AM

That's true. The fact that it's only in red switches too I think makes some people not want to buy the K65. There hasn't been any announcements yet for blues/browns, so for those users they'd just go with the K70 instead. Still, I'm happy with red switches despite using blues/browns for 2 years. They're not too different from browns in my opinion.

In US: Corsair Gaming K65 RGB exclusively sold at Best Buy stores and bestbuy.com
It's sold in other countries of course by various stores.

Inheritance 11-02-2014 12:37 PM

Oh wow. I didnt even know that. I wish they had a ten keyless RGB. Useful for going to land with and smaller size makes being on the move easier.

gyroknight 11-04-2014 01:17 AM

For the K95, as of 1.9, the Pacman, Rainbow Link, 1Up, Starman, and Starman Invincible profiles still have the issue where mode switching is assigned to all the G-Keys.

I edited this rainbow strait profile to try and make a swirl pattern for my k95.

Would you be able to clean this profile and also make this more even? (It's not like, symmetrical as it goes around, I'm really nooby at this)

I attached the profile and here is a vid:

I've downloaded the K95 versions but seem to not want to work properly.

Edit: Upon further investigating, found out all the profiles I wanted to test are blank. The rest are working properly.

I just found this thread, and wow...I cannot express my gratitude for the work and kindness you've shown in organizing and converting all of these profiles.

I loved my keyboard before, but now I love it even more. It looks AMAZING!

Thank you SO MUCH!

Edit: My favorite is "Rainbow Straight". I was going to request whoever made it to see if they would consider adding the G-Keys, but it looks like that's already a project you've started on. Awesome!

Is there a known fix for the error you mentioned in this thread?
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=134229
I like the lighting but it crashes my CUE every time I try to run it.

Yea i wouldnt really know what would be causing that issue if its not the file size then it could be that the profile is jsut faulty somewhere.

Great Utility

This is a great utility. I started by downloading other users' profiles, and some of them made a real mess. There were a thousand lighting effects above and beyond those actually used in the profiles. The profiles I made had all kinds of extra XML in the profiles. I removed the content from the AppData folder as directed in this thread, ran this program on every profile I downloaded before importing, and I now have a clean Lighting Effects List and really small profiles when I make my own and export them. It seems even complex profiles should only be a few hundred KB at most. Nice work on the Clean and Convert program!

Thanks, but it seems like my work here is nearing an end. with the new tool out all i do is add lighting effects.

Hi Zheren159! I am very thankful of your work here in the Corsair forums! I ve been wondering on which Keyboard to get, K95/ G910 from logitech and this forum and the advanced K95 won me over. Just one question, as i have yet to purchase the keyboard, im not sure as to get the K70 or the K95 as lighting plays a big role for me and the G keys give bigger real estate for me. Do the profiles work as of yet? Is it hard to convert K70/K65 profiles to the K95?

musicequips 12-06-2014 04:01 AM

Rainbow Random...my default choice. Best of the offerings and most representative of the RGB presentation concept. Spiral Rainbow is dramatic and well...superb! Thanks for your efforts.

Converting profiles should be really easy now with the new tool by Fuzzynuts. adding lighting to the G-Keys will still have to be done manually but for most profiles it shouldnt be that hard to do. for the advance ones ill still be converting them.

We have found an issue with profiles that were created outside of the software that could potentially lead to issues with CUE. Zheren did a great job cleaning these up and making them available for other keyboards but because of the edits, CUE sometimes has an issue with exporting and importing these specific profile(s). We have the fix in place for the next software release and are hoping it will be released *VERY SHORTLY* (if no other issues come up internally) to address this issue.

Hey, new K65 RGB owner here. First off, thanks a bunch for all of this hard work.
I have encountered an error- when I try to import the knight rider profile from the K65 batch I receive a popup stating that it is the "wrong file type." I have imported and used many other profiles from the K65 zip and they work just fine.

Thank you!

lafrip 01-10-2015 09:04 PM

Hi,
When i import the Thunderstorm2 profile I have this error :
Profile: No ID tag or bad ID. ID was regenerated.
Profile: Device: Mode: ID tag is missing or ID is invalid. ID was regenerated.
Profile: Device: Mode: Button Group: Invalid key name in Button Group.
Profile: Device: Device doesn't contain all required default Modes.

And the profile don't run correctly :/
Someone can help me please ?

Fiordhraoi 01-11-2015 12:08 AM
