k70 lux rgb Assigning Media Keys only to Windows Media Player

Hi guys,

 

I recently built a new computer and peripherals to go with it, and I really enjoy my K70, but there's a little thing that bugs me. I like to listen to my music with Windows Media Player and to watch my movies on Media Player Classic, and with my previous keyboard, no matter if MPC was open, the media keys was controlling only WMP but now if I listen to some music on WMP, pause it, launch a movie on MPC, pause the movie and want to play the music again by pressing the play button, it'll launch the movie and not the music.

 

Do you have any idea how I could get the media keys to control only WMP ?

Hi Urgo, the media keys would control the media player that has focus, so once you switch to the video player, it would activate there.

Well it's not entierly true. If MPC is open and I open WMP then, the media keys will still control MPC. No matter what, if MPC is open, they'll control it.

And that's my problem, I want them to control only WMP as my previous Razer keyboard from 10 years ago was doing.
