  1. Another update here, support got in contact with me to let me know the order has been placed. I am awaiting shipping at this point to receive the item!
  2. Thanks for the alternative option, it's pretty cool they do custom jobs for around $50 shipped.
  3. How do you have the channel configured in iCue? Also how did you connect it directly to your motherboard?? The RGB connector should only exist on a Node Pro or Commander Pro.
  4. Hi there, Motherboard won't matter as USB and SATA powers everything involved with these setups it may alter if you need a splitter or an extra adapter depending on what the motherboard is able to power. I have the same 13 fan setup you have suggested but it sorta matters what you care about etc, let me try to explain! First you need to ask yourself to you care about monitoring fan speeds and fan speed regulation? If the answer is no or that you don't care if they run at 100% all the time I would go ahead and purchase some cheap Molex splitter to 4x fan adapters from amazon, this will take care of the power entirely. With the amount of Node Pros you have you would just need Fan Hubs (6x fan connector that goes into the Node Pro or Commander Pro channel) and RGB Splitters if you wanted to get specific lighting patterns (if you don't care or plan on solid color then this doesn't matter and saves more money). CHEAPEST ROUTE: 2 to 3x fan splitters (4 fans) to Molex adapter (if your motherboard has fan powers you can use those) 2x RGB fan Hub + 1 rgb splitter for the uneven fan OR 3x RGB Fan Hubs If you wanted to "fancier" setup let me know I can tell you how I have mine configured. I wanted full fan monitoring and control based on temps. In addition I setup to have my RGB front panel on my 1000d to be identical so the 4 fans going up on the left match the right with RGB splitters etc. I'll go into more detail if you're interested otherwise the cheap method above is the best option to get it "working" If you need a diagram I can help after I figure out what you're aiming for.
  5. Hi Sodie, did you happen to relocate the RGB connector into the 2nd channel might be a faulty Commander Pro channel.
  6. Still no hope for a fan tray, Corsair pretty much said there isn’t a large market for 1000d. If you plan on going double 120mm trays I recommend passing on this case entirely. P.S still willing to pay for a used one $50
  7. I'm still in search of an 8x 120mm fan tray for the 1000d. I asked for an update via support again and they advised they are still not in stock and no ETA available. Support is now suggesting the 3D model I mentioned previously in this thread. The reason I didn't go along with the 3D model is it requires about 90 screws to put together and I don't feel like making that effort as of yet. If anyone is selling a tray I'm willing to pay $50 + shipping within the US.
  8. Hey appreciate you taking the time to get some solutions out there. I did think about doing something custom myself but for the cost of the part I just couldn't figure out anything that would be time effective (work is killing me right now). I did find some 3D printer molds to assemble a tray which wouldn't cost too much and it would slide into the stock railing. I'm going to give it another week or two before I figure something out on my own. I'll keep some of these suggestions handy if it comes to that.
  9. Its honestly just this part from what I've seen at least for this case specifically. I don't see any other parts really out of stock on the site (I guess the 4x 120mm tray it out currently). I'm hoping its just a high demand issue vs a lack of interest in making them going forward. Zotty's discord has given me the impression its simple high demand as I can attest the server was pretty active last time I was in there.
  10. I'm willing to pay $50 shipped if anyone is able to sell me a used one, just PM me!
  11. Just to supply an update here. Support finally got back to me after a few days and in short they said they also have no clue when it will be in stock. I managed to find a 3D printed version online of the tray that might work so I might go down that path if it doesn't come in stock over the new few days. I still personally think this is a bit ridiculous for such a simple/cheap part but hey, opinions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. Greetings all! I had purchased a Obsidian 1000D about a month ago and these tray's on the site haven't been in stock SKU CC-8900160. Can anyone let me know the last time they were in stock? Seems like a bit of a wait for a piece of metal. Also if anyone is interested in getting rid of a used one I would happily pay shipping and the full price for one at this time so I can finish this build out. Thanks! Link to item: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Cases/Obsidian-1000D-8x-120mm-Fan-Tray/p/CC-8900160 P.S I also tried other regions and its out of stock everywhere I could find and doesn't exist at other retailers per the link on the site.
  13. So I was looking to expand my memory from 32 GB to 64 GB from my pre-existing setup and cannot find out if its more beneficial for me to return my current kit and get a "64 kit" ro just buy another 32 GB kit. I tried to search for spec differences and couldn't' find anything other then the model number is different, the timings appear to be the same. Was wondering if someone with some experience could just chime in and set me straight here, thanks! Current setup: CMT32GX4M2C3200C16 (2x 16 GB Sticks) vs Should I get? CMT64GX4M4C3200C16 (4x 16 GB Sticks) P.S I know this amount of memory is overkill but I might be doing some extreme video editing in the future and I need more RGB lol
