  1. Any chance someone from Corsair can chime in here?
  2. Well, I tried the idea of placing the XD5/XC7 RGB lead into channel one. Unfortunately it’s the same result. I have ordered a Piratedogtech RGB splitter to see if that helps solve the issue. Next item on my agenda is to contact Corsair support. Time to see how good their service is. :)
  3. That is a great troubleshooting step and I think you for recommending that. Will give it a try tomorrow morning.
  4. Hello all. Recently I had to change the motherboard in my PC, and upon reassembly, I am experiencing a strange lighting problem. Channel 1 runs 6 LL120’s and Channel 2 runs 1 XD5 Pump/Res and 1 XC7 CPU block. The CPU block is daisy chained in with the XD5 as is says to in the manual, and the XD5 plugs into LED Channel 2 on the Commander Pro. Whenever the system is on I get the colors specified in my profile, but I also get an extremely bright flickering. It is more pronounced from the CPU block but that is more because of how it is oriented. The flickering is bright enough that it becomes very irritating to sit next to. I did a little troubleshooting and tried each device plugged into LED Channel 2 on the CoPro, and like this they work fine. It’s only when using the two products connected through the XD5 that the flickering/flashing happens. I did also try hooking up one of PirateDogTech’s RGB splitters to the CoPro Channel and both products into that but iCUE did not recognize that configuration. Anyone have any ideas? These products have all worked together perfectly for over a year until about a week ago. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Hello all. So for the last few years I have been exclusively using the Glaive RGB Pro. I am on my second one now as I had to RMA my first one due to failure of the right click button. That was about a year ago and the replacement Corsair sent me worked great until a couple of days ago when the exact same problem with the right click button only registers a click about 20% of the time, and if you try to click and hold it’s a hot mess. So onto my question. I thought about picking up a 3rd Glaive but decided to go with the Ironclaw Wireless RGB Pro. I really like the additional buttons that it has. It arrived today and while setting it up I find that the 2 buttons that normally would be for DPI adjustments, a feature I never use, located right behind the scroll wheel have the functionality of changing my ICue profile. Then the two new buttons on the left side up near the front of the mouse are now the ones for adjusting the DPI. That design is a tough one for me to understand why it would be that way. So my question is, can the 2 profile switching and 2 DPI adjustment buttons be remapped to another control that might actually be useful? I am hoping they can as they would be great for my gaming endeavors. I will be watching for replies. Thank you In advance.
  6. Holy hell thats a lot of extensions. :) But after seeing the size of the 1000D on my dining room table I totally understand the need for them. That and lots of SATA power connectors.
  7. In my 1000D there is no dedicated spot on the PSU shroud to mount a riser cable and PCIE bracket so I’m guessing it’s purely mounted on the back of the case. My previous case, a Fractal Define R6, has two dedicated stand offs for mounted the riser to for vertical GPU mounting. In this case the PSU shroud is dedicated to being a platform for the second system in an ITX format to mount to. I will try to get some detailed pics of that area and post them here so you can visualize it better.
  8. Yeah, I LOVE the GTS rads and have used them in all my previous builds. But I guess these will go into the stockpile or I will turn around and do a scratch and dent sale. Hint hint. :) On the brighter side of things, in my search for a replacement I learned of the Alphacool Nexxxos V2. It’s multiple ports and flush plugs should make for some fun loop design. What sold me was the addition of another port on the bottom for draining the rad. Why hasn’t any other manufacturer done this yet? It’s brilliant. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on them and seeing what I can come up with. Dealing with all the RGB wires, not so much. :)
  9. I can can confirm, and will put this in caps.....DO NOT BUY HWL NEMESIS GTS RADS for dual mounting on the 8x120mm front fan tray. I picked up two of the 480s and they will not fit. Due to the extra width of the design (they are 133mm wide) there is not enough clearance for the screws to mount to the tray. If Corsair had opened the screw pattern up even 1 or 2 millimeters they would work fine. But for now I am sitting here with two useless and scratched up rads from trying to figure this out. I am really starting to see the differences between Corsair and Phanteks in the top end case market. While my Enthoo Elite was twice as expensive, the documentation and build quality differences are painfully obvious. So far I’m rather disappointed with the 1000D.
  10. Not sure why my picture isn’t showing up. I will try to add it below. If it doesn’t work, what I did was cut a hole in the PSU shroud to allow the PSU OLED screen and RGB effects to be seen. Here is a direct link to the pic on Imgur. https://imgur.com/gallery/wfeRUFp
  11. First Mod to my brand new 1000D. Asus Thor PSU with the real time wattage output display. My only concern now is that in this orientation the PSU fan is on top so it’s close to the shroud. I am planning on converting my current system to an ITX format and putting it in here for dual systems. Really wondering just how much heat this PSU will put off.
  12. I feel your pain Zotty. Well, my wallet understands. All of my equipment is on its way. Thankfully I already had 2 EK XE 480’s stashed away. Still debating on fans. I have enough 120/140 LLs for push and would go push/pull if not for the fact that there is no RGB effect on the rear of the fans. May use a bunch of EK Vardars I have laying around for the pull fans.
  13. This is truly disappointing. Seems like a lost opportunity to expand and improve you product line.
