  1. The replacement I received does not have the same double click feel on the left mouse button, so it is definitely a hardware issue with my original!
  2. Thanks! I ordered another one today from Best Buy and should have it tomorrow and compare the two. I have until the 16th of Jan 2021 to return them!
  3. I am having a similar issue with mine, except the button is not actually double clicking, it just FEELS like it is, if that makes any sense! lol
  4. As the title says, last Friday , I purchased an Iron Claw. I got it for its features and size. I read about the issue some people were having with the scroll wheel and mouse buttons, but took a chance on it! My question is a simple one. The left mouse button feels like it clicks twice, but it does not. I can put my finger on the button, and the plastic piece seems to slightly make a clicking noise before it actually engages the switch itself. Is this normal? Is the the beginning of an issue I may have with the left button? Thanks in advance for any feedback all you Iron Claw owners can give me!
  5. Thank you, but my mouse is out of warranty. Sending it to Corsair to get the battery replaced would not be economical, as it would probably cost more than the mouse is worth.
  6. I just bought one of these and saw this right before I purchased it. I am light gamer, so I hope this mouse holds up. Like others, I think the wheel should be made of metal, not plastic, but even that is not really needed. Most of my other mice do not have metal wheels, and I have never ever had one of them break! I got the mouse due to its size. It is among one of the most comfortable mice I have ever used for gaming. If it used AA batteries instead of a built in, non replaceable battery, it would be almost perfect. I got the mouse from Best Buy and bought their 2 year replacement plan on it, however, if this things breaks in the next month like others have, the way I use mice, I am returning it. This is a hardware problem that should be easy to fix. No firmware upgrade will fix it. The problem is also partially caused by the obsession to make these things lighter and lighter, which I do not understand. It is a MOUSE, not an anvil. ALL mice are lightweight! The way to making them lighter is to use thinner and more fragile pieces. Make these things better!!
  7. Just a quick update on this. Last night I forced a firmware upgrade on my Dark Core, even though it was up to date, did a factory reset, then plugged it into my PC before I went to bed. The battery is now fully charged! I would still like to get my question answered, however, in case I do need to find a battery for this mouse!
  8. I have had a Dark Core RGB gaming mouse for about 2-1/2 years, and it has been lightly used. Today I decided to start using it again, but I noticed that the battery is showing as critical all the time in Icue. It also shows up that way on the mouse, even after charging it for several hours. Apparently, the battery has gone bad. Has anybody on this forum been able to actually get a replacement battery and install it? if so, how much does the battery cost? I wish they would have made this mouse like the Logitech G700s and used a readily replaceable, and cheap, rechargeable AA!
