  1. Your PSU should have no issues supplying adequate power to the cooler either way. My H115i is connected to the same SATA cable that powers a Samsung SSD, I have had no problems at all.
  2. Ok cool thanks. Yes the radiator will easily fit at the front in my case. So if I front mount the rad and set fans as intake, then I should set two 140mm ML fans at the top - and have them as exhaust right? And I guess the single 140mm fan at the rear (which is exhaust now) won't make much difference either way.
  3. Does anyone know of a reason why I shouldn't place the H115i's radiator at the front of my case instead of mounting it at the top. The only guidance Corsair gives in the "Quick Start Guide" is showing an illustration of a top mounted rad and a recommendation to set the fans as air intake. The problem is with my Fractal Design Define R6 case, doing a top mounted rad makes everything super tight up there, and it actually overlaps the top of my mobo, partially covering the DIMM slots, all the fan headers, as well as the LED display for troubleshooting codes. I'm just wondering if its recommended or not to front mount, because a front mounted radiator would solve all my issues. But not at a cost of higher temps.
  4. Received the new keyboard today on 06/10/2019. RMA went ok I guess, it took 16 days total. Strangely, it arrived early Friday morning (06/07/2019) at the local UPS facility according to tracking, and sat there in a warehouse over the weekend for no apparent reason. I live 5 miles from that warehouse and could have went and picked it up (but they won't let you). It wasn't delivered until today (Monday at 4:00 pm). But I guess it all worked out. Still, I feel a bit of heartburn with the whole scenario and because I paid for shipping. In the end I guess it's water under the bridge now. I will closely watch this keyboard for glitches and update it if goes bad. But it seems to be good now. Thank you Corsair Wootaru
  5. OK thank you. I appreciate that.
  6. Well, I submitted my RMA today (it cost me $20 shipping!), so we shall see how it goes. Not happy about this at all. Regretting buying a Corsair keyboard at this point. This board and now the shipping is approaching $200. It is not worth that much! But like I said, we'll see how they handle this and how quickly they get me a fixed or properly lighting board back. I am now using a 1990's chiclet keyboard from an old HP desktop from my work. It makes me angry every time I look at it. Brand new build, i9 9900k, GTX 2080, and a 20 year old HP keyboard.
  7. I'm preparing to RMA my K70 RGB keyboard, and it has been approved. I don't see any specific instructions however -about how to package to keyboard. Such as using original box, including wrist rest, extra keys, etc. I know typically with other components you don't send anything else back but the item, and you usually don't use the original box (because you wont get it back), but I can't find any info about how to pack my keyboard before mailing it back to Corsair. Could anyone advise?
  8. I have the CORSAIR K70 RGB MK.2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and have been very happy with it for the most part.... until today when I noticed one of the keys (the #6 key on the top row), is very dim and barely visible. I messed around with iCue for over an hour, and it doesn't matter what color I change the keys to, the #6 key is very dim and barely visible. I found an update for the iCue firmware too, updated, but it changed nothing. Every other key is good to go and very bright. This is very annoying especially considering I paid $160 for this keyboard less than 5 months ago. But now the return window has closed so my only option is to live with it, or RMA (which would be an extreme hassle and leave me without a keyboard for weeks + cost me money). Anyone have any suggestions?:(::mad:
