  1. Use a hair dryer with hot air and gently pull it out. That way, will be possible to remove and to reuse the sticky parts. For me, worked fine.
  2. Hello guys ! I bought a Bitfenix USB internal cable extension CODE: BFA-MSC-IUSB30KK-RP for my USB 2.0 cable of the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum cooler, wich link the cooler pump with the motherboard USB 2.0 header. Many vendor sites say that this cable is a 9 Pin extension cable, but in fact it have only 8 Pin on the male connector. Is missing the 9th pin on the bottom row in the right side. The connector have 9 holes on it, but only 8 holes are populated with pins. I studied many sites and product photos, but I saw that the cable have only 8 Pin in all the photos. I tried to find this product on the official Bitfenix site, but I don’t found it. Now, I am wondering what is the problem with this, and if can I use it to extend my cooler pump cable with it. I am confused, because I don’t know how many holes on the Corsair pump cable connector are populated with contacts and how many Pins are needed to do a proper job ? Can you say something about it ? It is a rel difference between a 9 Pin and this 8 Pin cable ? Why this extensions are labled 9 Pin since it have only 8 Pin ? Can you recommend me an USB cable extension wich works for sure with the Corsair USB pump cable ? https://www.aerocooler.com/bitfenix-bfa-msc-iusb30kk-rp-alchemy-multisleeved-30cm-9pin-internal-usb-male-to-9pin-internal-usb-female-extension-cable-black/ My Corsair USB cable is like this, but is not dual mini USB, only single miniUSB and it is labeled 9 Pin. From this point of view, seems that it match with the Bitfenix extension wich is also labeled 9 Pin. https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Cooling-And-Corsair-Link/Corsair-Link-Dual-Micro-USB-to-9-pin-USB-Cable/p/CL-8930008 Thank you very much.
  3. Hello guys ! I have this AIO cooler and I installed it in the case. Now I have to power it, but I don’t know if is necessary an individual SATA power cable from the PSU, or is enough a SATA power connector from a serial SATA power cable. I saw a comment on the Internet about somebody wich used a serial SATA power cable to power the cooler and other devices too, but the cooler had issues. I don’t remember exactly what issues he said, maybe about the fans or the RGB. He said after changing to an individual SATA power cable from the PSU, the cooler had a normal functioning. He said that initially wanted to use less cables from the PSU, for to have a good cable management options. The question is that is true and the cooler requires an individual SATA power cable only for it, or can be used a serial SATA power cable wich power the cooler and other devices too, for example an SSD or an HDD, without getting issues. Do you have heard about such a problem ? I will try to find again that comment, and if I will find it, I will put the link here. My PSU is a very good PSU- Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 1000W, I don’t think to not be capable to deliver the proper voltage to all devices, thinking maybe his PSU was culpable for the situation descripted above. Thank you very much.
  4. Thank you for the answer. In intake, in the front of the fans or to the back ? No, I think I have not any fans controlled by the motherboard, since no one is plugged in the motherboard headers. Four of them are plugged to the Commander Pro, and the two radiator fans to the AIO pump. But since my two radiator fans are not plugged in the Commander Pro, but in the cooler pump, I am wondering if these fans are controlled by the motherboard or by the controller via Icue software. The speed of the two radiator fans can be controlled by the software if they are connected to the pump ? Many thanks.
  5. Helo guys ! Tottaly I have 5 temperature sensors. Two of them are provided with my Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master motherboard ( wich have 2 headers for temperature sensors ) and the other three sensors are provided with my Obsidian 500D SE RGB case and the Commander Pro, wich can manage them by ICue software. I have an I9 9900k CPU, a Corsair H115i RGB Platinum AIO cooler, a RTX 2080 TI GPU. Where is the best places to install the temperature sensors in my PC case ? Any recommendation will be very appreciated. Thank you very much.
  6. Did anyone install the Lian Li Strimer RGB ATX 24-Pin extension in this case ? I tried for three hours to fit the Strimer in my case, but it is so stiff and long after it exit through the grommet in the back compartiment of the case. The remained lenght is stiff and chunky because of the connector, and I tried many ways to succed to do it nice and functional , but I don’t succeded. I tried to move the remained lenght on both sides, to the front of the case and to the back. I tried to use the upper gromett, wich looks better from the motherboard side because is near the ATX header and the Lian Li Strimer don’t twist , instead the middle grommet where it twist. After all of this, my conclusion is if you use the upper grommet, it look nice, not twisted, but you can’t use the vertical cable mask on the back of the case, wich is not a good solution. If you use the middle grommet, it will look twisted and the RGB optical fibres will be behind the cables, but you will be PROBABLY able to use the vertical cable mask, if you bend in short to back of the case the remained lenght of the cables, in the cables compartiment of the case, exit it through the bigger hole of the cable mask and couple it with the PSU cable in the exterior. If somebody succeded to do that, a picture will be very appreciated. For me, I don’t founded a good solution. Thank you.:(: Look here a 570X case ( the same chassis like mine) build, wich have a Lian Li Strimer. It looks preety good, but the arch is to high in my oppinion, this way it can restrict the airflow in the case. But I don’t know what is the situation in the back, because it is not shown. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/YvvnTW
  7. Where is the best position to install the back side fan on its grill in the Corsair Obsidian 500D SE RGB case ? This case have, like many cases have, a grill on the back side, where is installed a fan, but this grill is larger than a dimensions of a 120mm fan. Actually, even the holes for the fan screws is guiding holes, wich permit to install the fan upper or lower on the grill. I saw all three positions on the grill - up, middle or down used in builings, even in Corsair official presentation builds.I thought if the position matters for the best airflow, wich in that case is from the front slightely ascendent to the back of the case. Does matter the position of this fan, since the position determine an uncovered portion of the grill, upside or downside the fan ? Which is the best position, where should be the uncovered grill ?
  8. Oh, I understand now. Thank you so much. This way, can I sync the RGB lights of the ML fans to the others, by the Icue software, since they are arn’t connected to the Commander Pro ?
  9. Yes, I know this diagram. Thank you. Seems this is the classic conection, with all the fans connected to the Commander Pro. I don’t understand very well from the diagram, sorry for my confusion, this is my first build, I am a beginner. I see in this diagram 5 LL fans and 2 ML fans on the radiator, but in the same time only 6 green lines imput on the Commander Pro. I am still confused. I have the Obsidian 500D SE RGB, so tottaly 4 LL120 fans ( 3 on the front of the case and 1 on the back ), plus 2 ML140 fans on the radiator. I have 4 Corsair RGB led strips too. My question is about what @c-attack have mentioned above that “ it is preferable to keep the fans on the cooler’s controller versus the Commander Pro, that ensure they will operate off coolant temp with or without software runing and protect itself “. I am interesed about this conection type and a diagram with this situation, when the radiator fans are connected to cooler’ controller, not to the Commander Pro. Thank you very much. https://imgur.com/ICBYkWk The diagram is like this ? But I see that the Corsair PSU is connected via USB with the Commander Pro. But I don’t have a Corsair PSU. I have a Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 1000W PSU, wich don’t have such a connector. I don’t know what to do.
  10. For example, I have the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum, wich have two ML 140 fans. Wich is the best way to connect them, for to be sure that the cooler fans will be able to work properly, even in case the Icue software doesn’t work ? It is the same like in previous case ? Sorry for my annoyance. If somebody will create a diagram with all the connections for this cooler, that will be very usefull for me. Thank you.
  11. Wow, crystal clear. Thank you very much.
  12. Thank you very much for your competent answer and for your time to write it. I knew already some details you revealed, like about the same temps between them, and many others not. Should I understand from your answer, that the H115i is good too for my purpose, unless the noise ? Shoud I use it without doubts ? Sadly, is impossible to build a push-pull configuration on 280 mm into my case, due to the dimension limitation above the motherboard.
  13. Hello guys ! Now I am building my PC and as you probably noticed, I have already a H115i RGB Platinum AIO cooler, but I still have many doubts about its capacity to cool my I9 9900k CPU overclocked to 5.0 Gb, installed on a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master in a Corsair Obsidian 500D SE RGB case, compared to a H150i PRO. Of course, the H115i will be mounted in the top of the case, but in this scenario, the radiator fans will pull hot air from the inside. From the other point of view, the 150i PRO must to be mounted in the front of my case, eventually in a push-pull configuration, and this way, will pull cold air from outside the case. I consider the push-pull config will be better than only a push config, both for the CPU and the GPU temps. If I have to choose again, I will choose the H150i PRO, but now I can’t do anything, because the returning time of my H115i RGB Platinum has expired. I am still willing to buy a H150i PRO, but with the regret that my H115i will be useless and already paid. Now, what is your advise, should I buy the 150i PRO, or you think my 115i will be enough for my goal ? I want to use my PC for gaming ( 4-6 hours per day). Thank you.
  14. Thank you. Sorry, I will resize the pictures in the future. I thought a larger pictures enable us to see better in the holes, LOL. Thank you.
