  1. I really hope we can get custom firmware on these things - no offense to corsair, while they make great hardware they make -awful- software and it sucks :(
  2. Well, considering it's taken the Corsair software team 3 years to make this broken mess, I'd be surprised if they even knew what a mutex is :)
  3. You really want them to use your interlock, don't you? :D
  4. Well, it's not easy but certainly possible. It looks like the main devs here are a bit idle right now, but if you can write code in any language that supports HID it should be possible to write to the registers on the H100i using the data in the first post and change the colors! There isn't quite an easy GUI tool for linux yet.
  5. Heya! New Corsair Link Mini purchaser here (wish me luck), also a python programmer who knows a little bit of Java, C# and a sprinkling of Linux knowlegde and HTML. I'd like to offer any help I can as the Corsair Link hardware is really neat and I don't want it to die just because Corsair can't hire a proper software firm to make the damn software :P I was planning to use the resources in the first post to hack up a simple hard-coded Python program to set my fan curves/etc and avoid the landmine that is Corsair Link 2.0, but it seems there are some promising projects in here that I really hope are successful but they need more traction to really pick up! :^)
  6. I guess theres no update on the lot number thing? I'm starting to get really disappointed in Corsair, first for the issue, then not being able to track the product revision. And now Corsair has shipped me another AX760i from my RMA (#6503447) when I was promised a HX850i instead. So I guess I'll have to wait another half month for them to get around to sending me the unit they offered, and waste more petrol driving out to the one UPS depot in the city to ship it again :( I guess the one upside of this situation is that Corsair has now paid to ship a PSU from NZ to Europe, and vice versa. And now they are going to have to pay again! Thats not cheap, not at all.
  7. All good mate! Hopefully they finish processing my RMA (#6503447) and get my new PSU to me soon. As for GPU, good luck with the problem and I hope they get you a fixed one ASAP - I know how annoying that noise is, especially when you make a silent system.
  8. I had this issue with an AX760i and I just asked them to replace it with newer HX850i. Technically lower end, but it does the job and doesn't have any such issues as far as I can tell. It also has a newer fancier custom FDB fan, instead of the disappointing Yate Loon fan they stuck on the AXi series, so it should be quieter anyway. RMA is still processing, so I wont know for a while yet! Also @jonnyguru, you responded to my thread and said the AXi series never had this problem, but now you say it does? What changed man :P Edit: The AX1500i is does not have this issue, it's a newer unit and has a version of the new FDB fan.
