Introducing the CORSAIR +5V PSU LOAD BALANCER
gio2vanni86 replied to Corsair Angie's topic in New Product Releases
Hey Angie is this able to work with evga psu? I bought it and think maybe either I had a bad psu or a bad unit itself. When plugged in my psu does not work, the fan does turn on once I unplug it but of course no power. I got a new psu evga since cables are custom for it, but now I'm too scared to try again. It's of course plugged into the only cables u have available which is my 8 pins for a 3rd gpu. Thanks again. -

Some how when i plugged in my psu, the corsair load balancer when connected to my power supply my psu wont turn on. I didnt smell anything burned but once i unplug the load balancer and turn it on again my psu finally turns on the fan off eco mode but doesnt supply any power to any device. Bad PSU? or did i burn it out?- 508 replies

Zotty's CORSAIR RGB Hardware and iCUE Eco-System FAQ

I have no idea what you need but just out of being a noob myself to water cooling, nice setup and all manππwas curious is that soft tubing? I honestly wish i just went that route. Looks really clean, almost cant tell really. I like it. 12mm? barb fittings? Good setup, i wish i didnt spend money on compressed fittings, would of been cheaper had i gone soft, not to mention bending and cutting acrylic tubes is really a mess of a world i wish i never dealt with. I'm sure one these awesome people will help you, even though we almost hijacked this post but they've been really cool.- 508 replies

Also do you or anyone know first time doing this and all, I know I short the 24 pin to run the loop before I can plug to the main board but can I still connect the 8+4 pin to the board and the 24 pins to the gpus when I run the loop? Thanks again.- 508 replies

Zotty's CORSAIR RGB Hardware and iCUE Eco-System FAQ
gio2vanni86 replied to Zotty's topic in CORSAIR iCUE
Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I've noticed it's not on their site I've checked as well. I do remember their other hubs because Ive had the sp and HD fans.. i do see some sites selling them, kind of short on time this build is a mess because of amount of devices needed and it's my first water cooled pc so it's been quite the journey and I really want it to be over.. I just hope I have enough amps on my evga psu to power that many devices. I have 24amps for my +3 n +5 if not I may have to short-circuit a smaller psu to power this setup up if it doesn't power up. Hopefully some day corsair will make a product that solves this amount of wires and hubs/c pros. My original plan was to wire this many but the amps part scared me and I was trying to copy zottys but yeah the Hubs dont have that link so I wasted quite a bit of money, my stupid fault. Over thinker. Thanks again for the reply. I'll see in a few days how it goes. Thanks again π- 508 replies

Zotty's CORSAIR RGB Hardware and iCUE Eco-System FAQ

Thanks for the reply wasn't sure if anyone was still following this post. How will the nodes will connect together. Do you still supply the nodes with a Sata power? Also mine dont have the 3 or 4 pin prong they used to come with, they sport a USB header now. Does the USB header need to be connected or not? Just ordered some RGB splitters from piratedog and they should be here pretty quick just curious about those headers since theirs no communication without the 3/4 pin prongs that used to connect them together. Thanks again appreciate it.- 508 replies

Zotty's CORSAIR RGB Hardware and iCUE Eco-System FAQ
gio2vanni86 replied to Zotty's topic in CORSAIR iCUE
Had a question, i have a 1000D and i need some insights on zottys diagram he's using XSPC PWM hubs. I take the XSPC hubs provide the power to the fans themselves and allows to control all fans under one CM pro just for the speed? As for the lighting nodes its 6 per channel but in the diagram i see 4 nodes connect to 1 or am i confused? My setup is two 480 rads front push pull, two 360 rads top push pull, with 2 fans spacing the front from the top and two rear fans(All QL fans 120's). I have the Lighting node pro RGB sticks with extensions. I also have two 3090 RGB waterbloacks EK with two EK RGB reservoirs, and two flow RGB indicators. My question is with all the EK RGB can those connect to the commander pro as well? I've only got experience with 1 CP and 6 fans and this might be over my head. I bought 6 for this build forget the case came with one so i have 7. So my question is, how many CP's do you believe i may need for this build. I ordered 4 XSPC and they are on the way also some splitters but not sure if i bought enough. Also i bought this many CP's because i was under the impression one side would be one color and the other a different color since its a Ryzen/Nvidia build. Any advice, pointers, really dont want to starrt a fire and see smoke coming out the rear. Thanks again guys π- 508 replies

Corsair Obsidian 1000D Build Log/How to Guide
gio2vanni86 replied to Zotty's topic in Battlestation and Build Showcase
I'm not 100% sure, on the site it doesnt say thickness. It just has "Dimensions: 520 x 130 x 60mm (L x W x H)" Thanks for the reply. You said in your build you only used 3 commander pros, but your build has a lot fans that can accommodate about 5 commander pros. Anyways im just trying to make sure i dont make any mistakes and my system turns on fans start spitting out the back with wires catching fire, with water squirting through the little open air waves it has.:D: -
Corsair Obsidian 1000D Build Log/How to Guide

Just a question, i love your build and have 1000D myself. Is it possible to run EK's 480 XE rads in a push pull config in the front, theirs enough clearance in the front? Noob question i know ive never done water cooling personally and am just about to take the dive and im scared beyond my years its always been Air cooling. I was thinking of doing the 480's in the front and two 360 rads on top. The top im not worried about but the front i am bit worried. Thanks again and awesome build.
