  1. appreciate it, i need one as i've run out of sata connections
  2. So is this ever actually going to be available for purchase?
  3. If you google "corsair rgb fan led hub" you'll find it, unfortunately though it just got officially discontinued so make sure to get some while stocks last on various sites
  4. Shows as discontinued on the US and UK Sites, will probably start showing the same on other versions as their stock goes down
  5. If you go to the RGB Hub product page, underneath discontinued it has a button which says "View Current Model", this links through to the Commander Core XT product page. And yes i would much prefer to have the 6 port hub connected to the commander pro rather than another hub via usb, not just because it increases the need for more usb headers but also controlling everything via a single commander pro in icue is so much easier than several individual hubs.
  6. Not even just the 1000D, a maxed out build in the 7000 cases could include up to 12 or more fans, which would need either a commander pro and a couple of hubs, or two commander core xt's. Such a bad move without having a proper replacement released.
  7. The commander core xt is in no way a proper replacement, i hope to god you guys have got an unnanounced new hub coming out that will actually be suitable for it's replacement. Doing builds in larger cases such as the 1000D or 7000 series is going to be such a pain without the rgb hubs and a commander pro, the cable and icue management alone will be hell.
  8. Also for anyone in Australia this store has them in stock, but will only ship to people in Australia. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/45681/corsair-120mm-fan-x8-tray-for-obsidian-1000d
  9. Hey guys i managed to get a hold of the fan tray today, emailing corsair support doesn't work but if you call them it will. Call the free-phone number listed on the site via skype, and ask them to check the stock of the part in warehouses outside the united states, if there are any (at the moment there are some in taiwan), they will create a support ticket and email it to you. Following that you will be asked to get a photo of the serial number from the barcode sticker on the back of your case, and the shipping address to send it to, it took a little under a day for them to get back to me but my fan tray is now going to be dispatched to me soon.
  10. So i just got all of the 13 fans installed and wired up, unfortunately it turns out that i didn't need the 8 RGB fan extension cables that i bought from piratedog_tech on ebay, probably going to sell those now so if anyone in the uk is in need of them, do let me know
  11. Thanks for the help mate, as much as i want it to looks pretty, I'd prefer to have a bit of extra performance, me thinks I'll go with all ML
  12. These look pretty decent but want to make sure they're correct before purchasing https://www.amazon.co.uk/SilverStone-SST-CPF03-Extention-Sleeved-Braded/dp/B00HVKN5L8/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/SilverStone-SST-CPF01-10cm-Splitter-Sleeved-Braded/dp/B01MEG7PUA/
  13. Hi there, have been following the thread for a little while, got my case last month and am finally getting around to buying the hardware for it. I do have a couple questions though, the first is i was wondering if you could suggest somewhere in the UK to buy PWM extensions and splitters, i'm quite new to all this and am not quite sure about which are correct. Secondly is there much difference in the effect that ML fans will have over LL or HD, i'm still on the fence about which to get.
