  1. How are we supposed to know if we have the 2015 Void headset? And why won't you guys support it in the new iCue Software?
  2. While your pump was connected to the other computer did you make sure to check again for a firmware update and on the PC you are using the pump on did you make sure your USB drivers are 100% up to date?
  3. Perhaps you should try using the fix in the post right above your post..... As for why this hasn't been fixed well you'll have to contact ASMedia and ask them why.... It's not a Corsair problem it is an ASMedia problem
  4. If it wasn't for Michael May the Technical Marketing Specialist- North America who personally reached out to me first in a personal message then after giving him my personal email address by direct communication via email with really fast response times and he even answered some of my questions after hours. First we had to isolate the common problem that users where having then isolate the hardware we all had in common.seems that ASMedia USB 3.1 and ASMedia USB 3.0 drivers were at fault for this potentially costly issue, and not just costly for the consumer but for Corsair themselves had they had to replace any hardware damaged from overheating due to a defect in the drivers between Corsair's hardware and software and ASMedia drivers and hardware. Corsair has attempted to reach out and get in touch with ASMedia to work on a permanent solution so that not another consumer like you or I had this issue rear its ugly head again. Turns out ASMedia has no interest in communicating with Corsair to fix the issue and now that ASUS MSI and most other major motherboard manufacturers have dropped ASMedia they will likely feel the pinch in all that loss of revenue. So when Micheal and I figured out the issue he got in touch with the engineering team there at Corsair and they came up with this solution.... [ame]https://youtu.be/oW9C8fxU72U[/ame] now as for the firmware I'd upload mine to google drive to share it with you but i am not 100% sure what cooler you have but if you reach out to Corsair via their help desk and tell them you need the firmware for your said cooler they will provide it to you. Pass it on to anyone willing to stop being so pissed off at Corsair for ASMedia being the **** up. I also suggest using laptop or another computer that is sitting right next to the system with the pumps and fans in it and just use a longer if you need to micro USB to USB cable and do not use a USB 3 or higher port. follow the instructions in the YouTube link that I provided and you should be back up and running in less than 20 minutes or so. If you have further problems message me back so I can go through the procedure with you and make sure you covered all of the bases. My pump has been running fine for almost a year now with no more issues. I hope this helps get you back on your feet!
  5. Actually you are pointing your finger placing blame at the wrong company, trust me I have been in your shoes and did the same exact thing. Turns out it's ASMedia USB 3.1 drivers to blame and I can bet you probably have an ASMedia USB driver in your system don't you? And all hope is not lost and there is a way to recover from this as I have and you know what, my pump is still running to this very day no thanks to one of the wonderful members of the Corsair team for reaching out to me personally and helping me fix this issue. Why this hasn't been posted in the forum is beyond me but it should be and I will reach out to that member and ask him to make this fix available for everyone with this issue to fix it and have their system back up and running! So until then if you want to know what that fix is message me personally at least until I know it's ok to post the fix in this thread.
  6. Already been done same result, even been done when Corsair iCue was the only installed program outside of the ones needed to keep my system running and the only thing plugged into USB other than my keyboard and mouse which are needed. This was already suggested by Corsair Support when I contacted them
  7. Yes I am using only the internal USB hubs, on the last one I tried using an actual USB port using a regular USB cable to see if maybe I can try to get iCue to see it again. And since I have been repairing PC's and building custom PC's for almost 25 years I have also tried a number of other ways to figure out the cause of the problem and eliminate any possible sources that would cause the update to fail. And if 1.01.15 is the current firmware version then it seems that I am in need of a firmware update but I am just afraid to update it and have another bricked pump. Fry's won't let me exchange a 4th pump and I don't have time to wait for an RMA, time is money and with my PC down I'm losing money. Also I have talked to Corsair customer Support and they made a few suggestions along the way like trying to update the firmware in safe mode and disabling my antivirus among other things. All with the same result. Mind you I have tried doing a forced firmware update on my keyboard and mouse and even my Void headset and none of them had any issues afterword. So I'm lost as to why those will work and the AIO won't.... Also it seems the firmware update in iCue is incorrect for this pump and that may be the issue As for you DevBiker all I can say is I'm happy for you, glad you have had better luck than I have but as you can see I am not the only person that has had this issue and I probably won't be the last so maybe instead of bragging about how you have yet to have this issue maybe try being helpful in trying to figure out the cause and/or a way to make it work right?
  8. I've already tried all that on the last 3 pumps that got bricked, once the firmware update fails there is no recovering or even seeing the pump again even if you switch to another USB header and trust me with 12 USB headers inside my computer I have tried all 12. Also I see that no one has confirmed what the current firmware version is for this AIO, this is the 3rd time I have asked
  9. I just asked if anyone could say for sure what the current correct firmware version the AIO is using and if there was another way to load the firmware outside of using iCue, I didn't ask for you to fix anything.
  10. Is there anyone with Corsair around that knows the current firmware Version for this AIO and how we can update it without bricking it, and no I'm not using iCue to do it cause I'm not gonna brick a 4th AIO
  11. a week or so ago I bricked 3 pumps from a faulty firmware update and this comes as a surprise cause I have never had to return a Corsair product for any reason and I have been using Corsair products for as long as they have been around. I'm scared to open the iCue software now in the off chance i or my son accidentally clicks that update firmware button when making lighting profiles. Please for the love all that is RGB and cool fix this!!!!!
